Smart Film Cost Calculator
Estimate EXW pricing from your glass dimensions — film area, transmittance, power draw, and transformer sizing — before you request a project quote. This is an estimator, not a final quotation.

How the Calculator Works
Four steps from glass dimensions to a carry-into-quote configuration.
- 01
Pick a scene or add a window
Choose a Living Room, Office Partition, or Bathroom preset, or add each window manually. Enter width and height in inches.
- 02
Set film preferences
Choose control type (On/Off or dimmable) and transmittance (High Transparency or Basic), and set your local input mains voltage (110V or 220V). Film is white only.
- 03
Review splicing and power
Windows wider than the production limit flag a splicing requirement with an added fee. The tool sizes the transformer from total film area at 3.7 W/m² with a 20% safety margin.
- 04
Get an exact quote
Generate the configuration summary, then carry it into the quote form for a project-specific quote from elevatoX engineering.
Estimator FAQ
What the numbers mean and where estimates end. See the cost guide for full pricing context.
Is the EXW price shown here a final quotation?
No. Every price shown is an estimate based on placeholder rates that have not yet been cross-confirmed against elevatoX's official quotation rules. Use the estimator to size your project and budget, then request an exact quote — the configuration is carried into the quote form automatically.
Why is splicing flagged on my window?
Smart film production has a maximum width. When the short side of a window exceeds the production width, the film must be spliced from two pieces — this adds labor and a per-window splice fee. The estimator flags the condition and lets you enable splicing to see the cost impact.
How is the transformer sized?
Total effective film area (after seal deduction) is multiplied by the film power density and a safety factor to get the required power. The nearest matching transformer tier is then recommended. The estimate is not an electrical design basis — final sizing is confirmed during engineering review.
Does the EXW price include shipping?
No. The price shown is an estimated EXW price and excludes international shipping and customs duties. Shipping and logistics are arranged separately — freight is quoted based on destination, packaging, and urgency.
Estimates & Limitations
Not a final quotation. All USD rates shown are placeholders and must be confirmed by elevatoX before any purchase decision. The configuration you build here is carried into the quote form so engineering can return a project-specific price.
Not an electrical design basis. Transformer sizing shown here is a planning estimate (3.7 W/m² film power, 20% safety margin). It is not a formal electrical design, installation approval, or compliance basis — final wiring, channel mapping, and electrical sign-off are part of engineering review.
EXW price excludes international shipping and customs duties. Shipping and logistics are arranged separately — freight is quoted by destination, packaging, and urgency.
Neutral silicone sealant is required but not included in the estimate. The configuration summary lists an estimated sealant quantity (90 ml/m²). Because sealant is freight-sensitive material, elevatoX recommends purchasing qualified neutral silicone sealant locally.
